The problem
Owning a home is an endless list of tasks that nobody centralized. Furnace filter dates live on a sticky note. Warranty PDFs sit in an email from two years ago. The dishwasher has a model number somewhere, and "somewhere" is never right now. The result: small maintenance becomes big repair, and a $20 filter becomes a $2,000 service call.
The approach
HomeFix is the operating layer for your house. Add an appliance once — usually by photo — and the platform handles the rest: maintenance schedule, warranty clock, recall alerts, and climate-aware reminders that actually match where you live.
What it will include
- Appliance ledger. Every make, model, and service record in one list.
- AI photo diagnosis. Snap the error code or the leaking fitting; get a triage answer.
- Auto-generated maintenance schedule. Based on the machines you actually own, not a generic checklist.
- Warranty & lifespan tracking. So you know what's covered and what's due.
- Climate-aware reminders. Pre-winter furnace prep in Chicago looks different than in Phoenix. The reminders should too.
